This will depend on the type of surgery, and Dr Shidiak will be able to discuss this with you at your appointment about how to achieve a full range of motion, strength and flexibility back after your surgery and what pre-operative exercise and education and post-operative physical therapy programs are available – to ensure you’re physically prepared for surgery, and to maximize your recovery after surgery.

Xrays, Ultrasounds, MRI, CT or any other imaging. Your Medicare card, and health fund details will streamline the administrative process. Comfortable clothing to allow examination of your hip or knee. Also please bring:

• Drivers License or a valid ID
• Referral Letter
• Copies of results, x-rays, MRI’s. CT scans etc and any other relevant information
• List of medications (if any)
